CAFTA (Central American Free Trade Agreement) has been approved by the Senate and the House Ways and Means Committee. The House of Representatives now has 15 legislative days in which to vote this agreement up or down. That means YOU NEED TO CALL your Oregon US Representative, and, if s/he is a Democrat, tell them to KEEP THEIR PROMISE to vote NO on CAFTA. Blumenauer, Wu,Hooley, and DeFazio as well as Brian Baird in Vancouver have all said they will vote no on CAFTA. The toll free number to call is 866 340 9281. Call today.
