Looking for House Party Hosts Outside of the PDX Tri-County for the 70th Anniversary of Social Security on 8/13

As you may know, several groups, including Democracy for Oregon, have partnered together to organize the 70th Anniversary of Social Security "main event" celebration in Portland at the South Park Block (between SW Market and Park) on August 13, 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM. There will be lots of free food, information on Social Security, speakers and of course, the birthday cake. The event is open to the public and everyone is invited to attend.

We are also looking for HOUSE or PICNIC PARTY HOSTS for smaller satellite parties outside of the Portland Tri-County area on 8/13 or 8/14. All it takes is a few friends, a cake and a potluck.
