Share Your Opinions tonight - DNC National Messaging Project

Under the leadership of Howard Dean, Oregon Democrats have been asked to participate in a nationwide messaging project.

The Democratic Party of Oregon will hold a special session in Medford this weekend to gather information regarding messaging and opinions about the Democratic Party from a local perspective.

At tonight's (Thursday, July 14) Multnomah County Democratic Party Central Committee meeting, we will be gathering information from our members to share with the state party and in turn, with the DNC. We encourage your attendance so that your voice can be heard and noted.

Tonight's meeting will be held at 7pm at the Hollywood Senior Center, located at 1820 NE 40th. This meeting is not a business meeting of the central committee but we will be gathering input from our membership as part of this national "messaging" campaign.

Your input is valued and important, please come prepared to help answer the following questions:

* How do people in Oregon view local and national Democrats?

* What are the top 3 issues in Oregon? Are they being addressed in the national debate?

* How do we want people to view the Democratic Party and what we stand for?

* How do the republicans want people to view the Democratic Party and what we stand for?

* How would you describe the mission of the Democratic Party locally?
