Bush Cruises Into Nixon Territory
Can he break into the twenties or teens with Cheney?
The chart
....doesn't show the full picture, in that Bush has fallen from the extreme heights of extraordinary 90+% approval ratings just after 9/11. Not only has he squandered international goodwill, and the Clinton budget surplus, and American lives and treasure in Iraq... he has completely blown his personal popularity.
Also it would be great if the chart had room to show all the failures and corruption that are contributing to his downfall (rather than the single timeline indicator re: Katrina)...but there are so many, there wouldn't be room!
