Pete Sorenson's Voice of Oregon Announcement Tour: Help Spread The Word

If you don't already know, Pete is a Lane County Commissioner and Democratic Candidate For Governor. We've been running a progressive grassroots campaign since January, and will challenge our current Governor, Ted Kulongoski, in the May 16 Democratic Primary.

As the only progressive candidate running in this race, there are five things that Pete's fighting for in this campaign: full funding for public education, from Kindergarten to College; increased access to affordable health care for low income families, especially the 106,000
children in this state who are currently uninsured; campaign finance and corporate tax reform; building Oregon's knowledge economy and generating family wage jobs in this state; getting Oregon's National Guard out of Iraq.

I'm mentioning all of this to you now because on December 12 Pete will be officially filing his election papers in Salem. Starting on Friday, December 9, Pete will kick off his Voices of Oregon announcement tour in Portland and travel to 10 cities and all five congressional districts in four days.
