Fight back against the Bush PR offensive on domestic spying

Just as they tried to do with privatizing Social Security, Bush and his media minions are once again on the PR offensive, trying to smear, mislead, and huckster-ize the American people into swallowing a disastrous policy. They are trying to subvert the Constitution, checks and balances, and rule of law.

We, the people, must fight back.

The Administration still has not, to my knowledge, explained why they are bypassing the secret and efficient FISA court, as required by law, to get warrants to conduct this domestic spying. One end of this surveillance involves Americans; therefore under law this is domestic spying and the President must obtain a warrant. No President is above the law. Even if Sam Alito wants him to be.
