Will Iran Be Our Next Dumb Mistake?
Submitted by Tom Davis on January 2, 2006 - 11:22am
Did you think that the Iraq debacle had drained our military and fiscal resources so much that we wouldn't do anything so dumb again? And maybe you thought the neocons, Rummys, oilies, Likudniks and Bushies had learned their lesson? Well - you might want to think again. And did you think that our press corps had rediscovered their missing body parts. Well it's apparent from this "Spiegel Online" article from Germany that residents of the Mideast and Europe are getting information that our media hasn't covered, except for the early mumblings by Bush and Rice about the military option. Is Washington Planning a Military Strike? http://service.spiegel.de/cache/international/0,1518,392783,00.html Recent reports in the German media suggest that the United States may be preparing its allies for an imminent military strike against facilities that are part of Iran's suspected clandestine nuclear weapons program. It's hardly news that US President George Bush refuses to rule out possible military action against Iran if Tehran continues to pursue its controversial nuclear ambitions. But in Germany, speculation is mounting that Washington is preparing to carry out air strikes against suspected Iranian nuclear sites perhaps even as soon as early 2006. ............... According to Ulfkotte's report, "western security sources" claim that during CIA Director Porter Goss' Dec. 12 visit to Ankara, he asked Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan to provide support for a possibile 2006 air strike against Iranian nuclear and military facilities. More specifically, Goss is said to have asked Turkey to provide unfettered exchange of intelligence that could help with a mission. DDP also reported that the governments of Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Oman and Pakistan have been informed in recent weeks of Washington's military plans. The countries, apparently, were told that air strikes were a "possible option," but they were given no specific timeframe for the operations. In a report published on Wednesday, the Berlin daily Der Tagesspiegel also cited NATO intelligence sources claiming that Washington's western allies had been informed that the United States is currently investigating all possibilities of bringing the mullah-led regime into line, including military options. Of course, Bush has publicly stated for months that he would not take the possibility of a military strike off the table. What's new here, however, is that Washington appears to be dispatching high-level officials to prepare its allies for a possible attack rather than merely implying the possibility as it has repeatedly done during the past year. ____________________ Read the article for more. |

Geo.politics 102
No, waiting for US's Iran invasion is waiting for Godot -- Uncle Sam never comes and doesn't go there. A sufficiently firewalled proxy might; not Israel, insufficiently distant to be anything but proxy.
The important element in my thought is being definite. Decide and determine as best you analyze what this or that sovereign politick is or is not going to do, and then stick with your story. It neuters all the paid propaganda in the media aimed at dithering you, cuts it off from blinding you motionless in the headlights. The interests who propagandize politics to you want one thing MOST of all: Stay right where you are. Do not take action.
Sure it is daunting to hold to your analysis when a made-up media maelstrom blows against your grain. The bird-flu hoax 90-days ago was tough to reject precautions for, but so freeing of mind when you do. It is a hoax. There ain't no bird-flu threat, to you or your family, and if there is you'll have much longer warning. Remember all the phony terrorism colors. Remember Dubya's WMDs. How many times are you going to be blazingly lied to and still stand for the next one? Call. It. What. You. See: FALSE.
This time it's, 'Iran invasion insanity.' That 'worry you' is FALSE, too. No Iran invasion, merely the News of it is to stir the insanity -- yours. One point convinced me -- no Iran invasion -- and it sticks: Michael Ruppert, speaking in Portland last summer, said, "US is not going to invade Iran because China and Iran just signed an $80 billion oil agreement. China's got a dog in Iran -- if US invaded, China could re-value the yuan." At the least. (Also, notice where China gets the money to buy Iran: Wal-Mart.)
Investigate Ruppert's website for added detail (a 5-lightbulb Infosite), From The Wilderness.com
Regarding the next US invasion, Syria is the most probable. And details in that history can be found. The timing question being the part I watch in the news. Where T-minus time is inversely proportional to the decibel of discussion -- the sooner it is, the softer it's mentioned.
For example, of world-changing you never heard about, and of dual-use as primary analysis in all things made in USA Government along the Muslim / Hindi border, (think: Pakistan), study Chapters 11 and 14 in the textbook of global George.politics, and then review the ISI base for operations you find in Persia and Media from then, (1971, when Rumsfeld and Cheney met Poppy, impresario to imperialist Henry the Hut), until now, 2006, in tandem with the pox americana of the principals.
That SOMEthing imperial this way comes, soon, appears to be seen. Israel's Sharon had 'medical complication' News recently, (whether it happens or not doesn't mean it is seen in News; and, whether it is seen in News or not doesn't mean it happened), and now Netanyahu's name has started proliferating -- the fix is in. Again, the timing is the question. The last time Sharon went avatar on his ram's horn was Sept. 17, 2000, Temple Mount, to provoke Palestinian-blamed disquiet in the Middle East for Bush/Cheney delusions of a frightened Jewish vote in Florida retirees the GOP could bag. (It helps to practice Rovianovian brainbanging a few times to get dervish dizziness down.) So, Sept. 17 to Nov. US elections was about 45 days in 2000. Ergo, the method for whatever madness this Republicanzi Imperium sickens with, is sequencing a critical step in disease growth to be reached about 45 days after Sharon's press-released heart attack back before Hanukkah, Dec.26 Plus 45 is Feb.8, something like Ron 'RIP' Raygun's birthday.
Which brings us to the bottom lines:
- No, there is no Iran invasion. Ain't gonna do it, too soon; the chatter now is a feint.
- US and with proxies aiming to invade Syria, about Feb. 8, but cannot invade until Patriot Act imperialism extension passes Congress, the very most critical step. Make or break invasion plans. Sharon/Netanyahu holds a key congressional voting bloc in it, not Iran.
Dumb Mistake action plan: You sit, wonder, and worry, and do nothing to put Impeachment first.
