• Bush budget-cutters aim at familiar targets AP reporter Andrew Taylor continues to report on this issue in a flippant, “it’s all just politics” manner that ignores the serious human consequences of this budget. Example: saying that elimination of funds for food for the elderly pull “have an emotional pull.” And, focusing on the pork aspects of the cuts (whaling museums, etc.) rather than the more serious cuts.
