Page 2 of today’s O. has a wire story (closest version I could find online is here ) with the welcome news that Arlen Specter “challenged the legality of the Bush administration's domestic surveillance program yesterday, saying the White House's case for tapping phones without a warrant is "very strained and unrealistic." The comments marked the toughest criticism yet of the program from an influential Republican.”
