Obama's Vision for America

I keep hearing people say over and over that they are voting for Barack Obama because he has a vision for this country.  I have read his views on the issues and the "Blueprint" for change.  I have been stumped on the whole vision idea.  I now have discovered that Obama's vision is based on his book "The Audacity for Hope".  I looked up the word "vision" in the dictionary.  It is a noun.  A vision is a concept, a dream.  Okay now I get it.  Obama's Vision for America is a dream, an ideal for America.  He has a great vision.  But...a vision is a noun not a verb.  A vision doesn't go anywhere without action.  We need change in America now.  We have to start somewhere right now.  Does Senator Obama have a plan of action?  As I have stated, I've read his "issues" statements.  There are some great visions.  But, there are very few statements about how the vision will be achieved, how it will be carried out and how it will be paid for.  Obama does not have the experience , leadership skills and the action plan.  At this time in our history, we need to have the person who can jump right in an get to work.  Obama, lacking in experience and leadership skills, realistically will not be able to do that.  It is great to have a dream.  That is how we inspire change and hope.  The problem, though, is that we only focus on the vision, we ignore or lose sight of the action plan necessary to get there.  When we are worried about the economy, the war in Iraq, lack of healthcare, etc...it is very easy to get caught up in the charisma and words of someone like Senator Obama who inspires people and gets people excited.  The problem is that hype is just that.  After the hype and excitement settle, one needs to compare and contrast the issues, experience, and leadership skills of the candidates.  Senator Clinton is the better candidate.
