Our goal is to connect and inform progressive Oregonians; this means that a key purpose of Blog For Oregon is for progressive citizens, thinkers, and organizers to post event announcements, reports, ideas, and opinions in a thoughtful fashion which will help expand the participation of citizens in democracy. We would also like to hear your thoughts and take on reports already posted.  Additionally, we encourage you to contribute to this blog to help it grow, as well as, facilitate discussion.  Think of Blog For Oregon as an online discussion group for the progressive community.
