To Whom It May Concern What I am writing down is a message for all who live here on this planet who want there children to live long enough to be adults. Anybody that wants them to retain the innocence of youth that their gift only because they are naïve of mans cruelty. A gift that comes from the protection that loving parents provide and can never be replaced once it is taken. For any person that values life and doesn’t agree with the sexual molestation, torture, and murder of innocent people caused by the occult. This is written for you and your family. I am asking that you read this with an open mind because I am writing it not only with the hope that you can help to control or put an end to the pure evil that I never believed really existed except in Hollywood horror movies.

Our UN Effort Regarding Al Gore Continues

Submitted by Jan Moore on October 4, 2006 - 9:49am.
  • Other Announcements

I faxed this letter with a cover letter to the Secretary General Of the UN, Kofi Annan last week. It is the second in a series of correspondence I will be sending to the Secretary General with the hope that a UN Global Environmental Ambassador position will be considered, and that the Honorable Al Gore will be considered to fill the post as our first Global Environmental Ambassador for the 21 st Century.

This is an effort I have been working on for the last year and a half, and one I have no intention of stopping because I believe it is that important for our world.

Now, I am under no illusions here. I know I am simply just a common concerned citizen... but perhaps, just perhaps my conviction regarding this effort will at least elicit a response from a staffer of his to start a dialogue about it. I can only hope. And I do hope because I still believe this type of position is now necessary, and that Mr. Gore is the most qualified individual to fill this position now as he has truly found his calling.

DFA Endorses Sal Peralta & Lew Frederick

Submitted by Ginny Ross - DFO on April 20, 2006 - 6:31am.
  • Other Announcements
  • Oregon

Democracy for America is proud to announce the addition of Salvador Peralta and Lew Frederick to the DFA-List, Candidates for America. These DFA members have dozens of years of experience in their communities. They have managed businesses and organized community initiatives. Now, we have a chance to help them take the next step and bring progressive leadership to Oregon.

Salvador Peralta is running for State Representative in Oregon HD 24. A small business-owner, Sal was instrumental in leading Oregonians in the fight to save Social Security, and is a long-standing champion of campaign finance reform and public interest media policy. An Oregon DFA leader, Sal is running because he is concerned about the direction that Oregon and America are headed, particularly with regard to funding for education, health care, and the shift in tax burden to Oregon's working families. When Sal is elected, he will immediately introduce legislation to enable small businesses and working families to opt-in to the state's prescription drug pool. Sal will also fight to close tax breaks and loopholes for companies that are taking Oregon jobs out of state. Please help elect Salvador Peralta to the Oregon House of Representatives.

NEW ZOGBY POLL: Majority Supports Impeachment Consideration for Warrantless NSA Wiretaps! 52% Agree Congress Should Consider Holding Bush Accountable

Support to Impeachment Bush FAR Stronger than Support for Impeaching Clinton, Poll Finds!

A new Zogby Poll, just announced, to be officially release tomorrow shows that a majority of Americans would support Congressional consideration of the impeachment of George W. Bush if, in fact, he wiretapped U.S. citizens without obtaining a legal warrant to do so!

By a margin of 52% to 43%, Americans want Congress to consider impeaching President Bush if he wiretapped American citizens without a judge's approval, according to a new poll commissioned by AfterDowningStreet.org, a grassroots coalition that supports a Congressional investigation of President Bush's decision to invade Iraq in 2003.
