Cooking Light magazine's Live Well Day

The nation's largest food and healthy lifestyle magazine is touching down in Wilsonville for its seventh annual Cooking Light FitHouse, a concept home featuring the most innovative advancements in function and design. Cooking Light is welcoming visitors to share food and fun as they open the doors of the FitHouse.

WHO: Join Cooking Light editors, Wilsonville Mayor Charlotte Lehan and Executive Chef Billy Strynkowski

WHAT: Celebrate the grand opening of the 2008 FitHouse with the Cooking Light team, and enjoy:
. Cooking demonstrations by Chef Billy;
. Balloon art and face painting;
. Adorable, adoptable pets from the Oregon Humane Society;
. Delicious food;
. Loads of product giveaways, including KitchenAid mixers!;*
. Massages;
. Fresh produce giveaways;
. Tours of the 2008 FitHouse, a model of healthy, low-maintenance and energy-efficient living, which boasts "Universal Design" features.

A portion of proceeds (there is a $5 admission fee for adults and children ages 6 and up) benefit the Oregon Humane Society.
