Minus Minnis Meeting

Yesterday, David Booth and I attended the ever-growing coalition of organizations whose goal is to see an Oregon Legislature minus Karen Minnis.

It was amazing to see all the talent in the room, and also the shear number of people gathered-we kept adding chairs around the table. The first canvass in HD 49 is planned for Saturday, September 10 from 10 am to 1 pm and I highly recommend you join the fun and get energized for a Democratic victory. Walkers from the previous election in 2004 reported that the seniors were enthralled with having a birthday card from Minnis sent to them.

How about collecting this information, so when our candidate announces, we can make up some birthday cards for our side to send. Together we can make a difference. Hope to see you all on the tenth.
