Bio

Born and bred in Anchorage, Alaska, I moved to Oregon to escape the cold and dark. I studied English and Women's and Gender Studies at the University of Oregon. After graduating in 2007, I decided to move up to Portland because, well, that's where the hip kids live, right?

My personal interests include: feminism, LGBT rights, bicycles, chocolate, saving the world through community organizing, and 80's dance parties.

I currently volunteer with: Planned Parenthood Legislative Action Team, DPO Neighborhood Leader program, various local campaigns.

I'm currently working on the Sierra Club's Power 2 Change campaign, which seeks to raise the profile of climate change and clean energy policy in the 2008 elections.
